Picture your first evening in Sicily: a glass of something cold at the welcome drink, twenty-odd other solo travellers swapping names, and a Holiday Director already sorting out who’s sitting with whom at dinner. Nobody’s half of a couple. Nobody’s paying extra for a room on their own. That’s the whole idea behind Just You.
This is our honest look at just you holidays in 2026: who they suit, what you get, who owns the business, how safe your money is and what travellers say, good and bad. Every fact was checked against Just You’s own pages, Companies House, Trustpilot and Which? in October 2026.
Our verdict in a sentence: safe and well organised, with your own room at no extra cost, though standard groups are big and hotel dinners get mixed reviews.
Who runs Just You, and are they still trading?
Yes, Just You is very much trading. The holidays are sold by G Touring Limited of Market Harborough, Leicestershire, and its sister brand is Travelsphere, which runs similar escorted tours for mixed groups of couples, friends and solo guests, with a single supplement on every tour. Our Travelsphere review sets the two side by side. Companies House lists G Touring Limited as active, with accounts filed up to 31 July 2025 and nothing overdue.
The ownership story is worth knowing. In January 2017 the old parent, All Leisure Group, collapsed, and the Canadian adventure travel company G Adventures stepped in and bought Travelsphere and Just You straight away. Booked holidays went ahead as planned. G Touring Limited was called G Adventures (UK) Limited until February 2017.
Just You says it has spent over 25 years creating trips for people travelling alone, and its latest brochure covers nearly 100 tours in 47 countries. Through Just You Cares it works with the non-profit Planeterra on community projects.
Who are Just You holidays best for?
Just You’s own FAQ says its typical guests are in their 40s, 50s and 60s, though you could meet someone in their 20s or their 70s on the same coach. You must be 18 or over to book. Roughly three quarters of a typical group are women, although the company says more men are joining.
The average group is 27 people. Reviewers mention around 40 on some popular tours, so try the Max 20 small group range for a quieter trip.
It works best if you:
- Like company at breakfast and dinner, with time to explore alone
- Are happy with a set itinerary, guided experiences and some early starts
- Would rather not pay a single supplement for your own room
- Are travelling alone for the first time and want someone on hand if things go wrong
It’s not a dating holiday. Nor is it for a lazy fortnight by a pool or a party crowd in their 20s and 30s.
What’s included on a Just You tour?
Every trip follows the same basic formula, and the price you see covers most of it:
- Return flights from the UK on most tours, often with regional airports to choose from, plus overseas transfers
- Hand-picked hotels, mostly 3 and 4-star, and the odd boat or lodge
- Breakfast every day and a set number of other included meals, such as a welcome dinner
- A welcome get-together at the start, so you meet your fellow travellers on night one
- A Holiday Director with the group throughout, local guides at the big sights and Holiday Assurance, its team’s support at every step
- Included excursions and experiences, with optional extras and free time on top
- Membership of Kindred, Just You’s online community for past and future travellers
The single supplement question
This is the big one. Just You’s FAQ puts it simply:
“you’ll always have a twin or double room all to yourself.”
There’s no single supplement to pay, though some hotels sell upgrades for a sea view. On a mainstream escorted tour, a solo room can add hundreds of pounds.
Holiday Directors and the welcome get-together

The Holiday Director (reviewers often say tour director) makes or breaks a trip, and they’re the most praised part of Just You. They run the day and arrange the seating at included meals. The first evening starts with a welcome drink or dinner, and on many tours a farewell dinner too.
What you’ll pay for on top
Tips aren’t included, so budget a little for them.
| Item | Included | Pay extra |
|---|---|---|
| Your own room | Twin or double, no supplement | Upgrades such as a sea view |
| Flights | Return flights and transfers on most tours | Upgrades, or Make Your Own Way |
| Meals | Breakfast daily plus the listed meals | Other lunches, dinners and drinks |
| Excursions | The included group visits | Optional excursions |
| Tips and fees | None | Tips and small local fees, often in cash |
| Insurance | ATOL or financial failure cover | Your own travel insurance |

A bestseller, and it’s easy to see why. You’ll explore ancient ruins, hill towns and the brooding bulk of Mount Etna, with 7 nights in 4-star hotels and 15 included meals: 7 breakfasts, a lunch and 7 dinners. Secret Sicily, new for 2027, heads for the quieter Baroque towns and seaside villages, with local food tastings.

Max 20 small group tours
Just You labels these “Small group travel style, Max 20 people on this tour”, and they answer the biggest complaint. Wild Borneo, with 9 nights in 3 and 4-star hotels and jungle lodges, is another small group trip.
Walking in Tuscany

Explore terraced vineyards and mountain scenery on guided walks across Tuscany, learning the story of the Medici along the way. It’s 7 nights in a 3-star hotel with 15 meals, from £1,999.
Croatian Island Explorer

This one swaps the coach for a small ship. Your island-hopping cruise on the Adriatic Pearl takes in chic towns, secluded beaches and local wine and food, with 7 nights on board and 17 meals. Croatia is one of Just You’s most popular countries, from Split and Dubrovnik to islands such as Hvar and Brac.

Christmas and New Year with Just You
Just You announced 27 Christmas and New Year itineraries for 2026. New this year is a five-day Christmas in Stratford-upon-Avon with a Boxing Day trip to Warwick Castle, from £1,399 (you make your own way there). Malta, Andalucia and Lisbon also feature. We cover the wider picture in our guide to singles holidays at Christmas.
Christmas with company, not a supplement
Festive tours in the UK, Malta, Andalucia and Lisbon, with your own room and a group to share the day with.
Is Just You safe to book?
Yes. Holidays with a flight from or to the UK are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority under ATOL number 11266, and G Touring Limited is a member of ABTA. Trips without flights, such as UK breaks, are covered by a financial failure insurance policy.
The deposit is £150 per person for UK holidays, £200 for European holidays and £400 for worldwide tours and cruises, and the balance is due 12 weeks before you go. You’ll find the detail on the Just You FAQ page, and the company record is on Companies House.
What do travellers say in their reviews?
On Trustpilot, Just You scored 4.7 out of 5 from 3,221 reviews when we checked in October 2026, rated Excellent. Around 72% of reviews give five stars and 3% give one. Just You invites every customer to review, not just the happy ones.
What people love
Again and again, it’s the Holiday Directors and local guides, praised for being calm, caring and knowledgeable. People also rate the itineraries, the scenery and how well looked after they felt on a first trip alone.
What people grumble about
- Groups of around 40 on some tours, which slows down stops
- Hotel evening meals that feel uninspiring, or rushed buffets
- The odd tired room, broken safe or limited breakfast
- Early starts, lots of walking and not much free time
The Which? survey
In the Which? survey of solo holiday providers, Just You came bottom with a customer score of 68% from 36 members, while One Traveller topped it with 83%. The survey dates from autumn 2024, but it hints that experiences vary more than Trustpilot suggests.
