Wildlife and Backwaters of Kerela - 11nights from £1595

On day 2 of the trip you will arrive in Cochin where your Page and Moy host and specialist guide will meet you and whisk you to your first Kerelan experience - a harbour cruise via coconut plantations and palm fringed fishing villages. There is no better way to start a holiday.

Over the next few days you will discover the exotic town of Cochin taking in a tour of the spice Bazaars and visiting majestic palaces and stunning churches and temples. You will also experience an exciting Tuk Tuk ride and venture through paddy fields, mangroves and tea plantations.

Day 7 explores Periya Nature Reserve where you will drive through Gavi National Park on a once in a lifetime Safari. Cameras at the ready for shots of the Elephants, Bison and the elusive Tigers!  Other highlights of the trip include a nights stay on a traditional longboat, a visit to the beautiful Islands of Kumarokoms and a city tour of Mumbai.
