Your trip starts when you meet up with your experienced guide and the rest of your tour group. Your friendly guide will have a wealth of knowledge and ensure that you get the most from your experience. Following flights to Kuala Lumpar and then to Kuching you will arrive in beautiful Borneo on day 2 of the holiday ready to discover this magical region.

The first highlight of the holiday is Bako National Park which is a thriving and rather unique place. The park has gorgeous coastal areas with powder white sand beaches as well as vast areas of lush rainforest packed with wildlife. Nature lovers will adore this place and will enjoy meeting some of the parks inhabitants which include rare proboscis monkeys and plantain squirrels.  Over the next few days you will explore the town of Batang Al and travel like the locals on a traditional longboat, you will also visit the breathtaking Sarawak River and the city of Kuching.

After flying to Sandakan on day 7 you will spend the final leg of the trip discovering more hidden wonders in this very special country, Highlights include being among the few privileged visitors to stay overnight on Seligan Island and see first hand the green and hawksbill turtles laying their eggs in the sand. You will also visit the Sepilok Orangutan rehabilitation centre.

Accommodation throughout the trip has been very carefully chosen to ensure high standards at all tines. Hotels include the 4 star Laching Hilton, Batang Longhouse Resort and Saba Hotel in Sandakan. Days 4-7 of the holiday include breakfast and lunch while days 8-11 are full board.
