Texas and Louisiana - 11 days from £1899

After meeting up with your host and the rest of your group you will spend the first two days of your Deep South experience in the charming town of Fort Worth in Dallas. During your stay here highlights will include a visit to Dealey Plaza - home to the amazing museum outlining the event leading up to the assassination of President Kennedy an 1963. You will also take a tour of the Texas cowboy hall of fame.

The next few days are a voyage of discovery as you explore the sights and sounds of San Antonio with its bustling markets, shops, cafes and bars. A river cruise offers the perfect way to see the best of the town. The main attractions here are the Alamo - site of a historic battle between Texan forces and Mexican troops and the largest Mexican market town in Texas - El Mercado.  Then it is on to the Jazz capital of the world, New Orleans for the final leg of the trip. Here you will visit the famous Jackson Square, The French Quarter and listen to jazz music while enjoying dinner onboard a traditional paddle steamer.
