Mallorca is one of the most popular destinations for UK holiday makers, but few of us venture outside of the large coastal resorts to see the true beauty of the island. On this 8 day adventure you will explore the stunning traditional villages and towns with their old stone houses and pretty narrow streets, as well as some of the lesser know coastal areas such as the beautiful bay of Puerto Pollensa. And no trip to Mallorca would be complete without a visit to the historic capital city of Palma.

You will meet up with your fellow Just You single travellers ahead of you flight to Palma from where you will be transported to your base in Santa Ponsa. The three star Santa Ponsa Park Hotel. This spacious hotel offers a high standard of accommodation with excellent facilities including a swimming pool, sun terrace, sauna, tennis court, bar and restaurant. You will be staying on a half board basis but there are plenty of alternative restaurants close by should you fancy a change.

Over days 2-7 you will enjoy plenty of free time to relax at the hotel and enjoy discovering the island at your own pace. Two excursions are also included. The first is a three quarter day city tour of Palma. This bustling capital city is packed full of historical attractions, culture and up market boutiques as well as some fantastic tapas bars and restaurants. The second included excursion takes you back to Palma where you will enjoy a vintage train journey into the hills above the city to the town of Soller where you can see the orange groves set in the lush valley.

You can also choose to enjoy one or all of the optional excursions which include a visit to the stunning hilltop town of Valledemossa with its mixture of traditional houses and plush villas and a trip to the amazing mansion of La Granja, with its lush grounds and natural springs. Here you will enjoy wine tasting and sample some of the delicious pastries made on the estate. Finally you will end the week with a farewell dinner on the last evening, a perfect way to say goodbye to the friends you have made over the week.
