Costa Rica has so much to offer as a holiday destination that it is hard to know where to begin. Of course as with all countries in this part of the pacific you can expect stunning white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. But Costa Rica is also a real paradise for photographers and nature lovers, as the vast national parks and rain forests and home to many rare and exotic species of birds, butterflies and flora and fauna.

You will meet up with your tour group in the executive lounge at the airport prior to your flight to San Jose. You will have ample time to get to know some of the other single holiday makers who will be sharing this amazing experience with you. On arrival in San Jose you will be transferred to your hotel - the Gran Hotel Costs Rica where you will stay for 3 nights. Over the next few days you will have plenty of time to explore this fascinating capital city and will enjoy a walking tour and a visit to a coffee plantation.

Next it is off on a road and boat journey to Tortuguero National Park where you will spend 2 nights in a lodge, in what is thought to be one of the country's most important ecological sights. Here you will enjoy spotting Monkeys, Sloths, Reptiles and many different birds. You will also take a tour of Braulio National Park enjoying breathtaking views and stopping off at Tortuguero Village and the beach. For the next leg of the holiday it is off for a 3 night lodge stay in La Fortuna near Arenal.

From here you will have plenty of free time or can take the optional excursions including the canopy tour for a bird's eye view of the stunning landscape. A culture day is included and you will take a tractor ride through the village and plantations, see a traditional lunch prepared and visit a school. You will also stop off at the gorgeous Ecotermales Hot Springs close to the Arenal Volcano. This is sure to be a once in a lifetime experience!
