Vietnam -13 days from £1999

Vietnam is a fascinating country and one which is still somewhat off the beaten track. The exciting sites and sounds of the cities offer a sharp contrast to the tranquillity of the Mekong River and beautiful Halong Bay. Along with a group of like minded single travellers you will visit Hanoi in the north and Saigon in the south taking in stunning rain forests and deserted beaches along the way.

The first 2 days of the trip are based in the city if Hanoi and you will have ample time to explore at your own pace as well as with the group. The excursion here involves an exciting afternoon touring the Ancient Quarter aboard traditional Cyclos. A city walking tour is also included and you will see the beautiful Opera House and Ba Dinh Square. Day 4 will allow you to be absorbed be the beauty of Halong Bay and here you can also enjoy an overnight Junk Boat Cruise. Days 6, 7 and 8 are spent exploring Hoi An - A picturesque riverside town where little had changed for decades. The last leg of the trip is dedicated to historic Saigon and tours will include the War Museum and the Presidential Palace.

Accommodation throughout the trip will be in hotels which have been specially chosen for their location and high quality facilities. Most will have a bar and restaurant although as expected the accommodation on board the Junk Boat will be much more traditional allowing you to really get in to spirit of the trip.
